Keto Diet Day 1

2 scrambled eggs = 0 carbs, 140 calories; 2 slices bacon = 0 carbs, 90 calories

1 slice fat free cheese = 0 carbs, 35 calories; 1 slice lite bread = 7 carbs, 35 calories

BBQ Pork Rinds = 0 carbs, 200 calories (snacked on these throughout the day)

Cucumber slices and carrot sticks = 3 g carbs, 25 calories; 1 tbsp ranch dressing = 0 carbs, 30 calories but watch lower calorie or lower fat dressings for carbs

keto meal replacement bar = 3 g carbs, 190 calories

Chicken burritio with 3 ozs chicken = 0 carbs, 210 calories; cabbage, lettuce, carrots = 5 carbs, 25 calories; 1 tbsp ranch dressing = 0 carbs, 30 calories; 2 tbsp shredded cheese = 0 carbs, 40 calories; xtreme wrap = 4 g carbs, 50 calories

Sugar free jello with 2 tbsp lite whipped topping = 3 g carbs, 20 calories

Please note that most people only count carbs but I wanted to show that calories are reduced when on a keto diet. Fiber is a concern so wanted to check that - without the xtreme wraps and keto bars, fiber would have been too low.

35 grams carbohydrates (Goal 30 grams); 1280 calories (1300 calories good goal); 67.5 grams protein; 18.5 g fiber
