Light greek yogurt and berries for morning snack = 120 calories, 13.5 g pro, 1.8 g fiber; 1/4 cup peanuts for afternoon snack = 160 calories, 7 g pro, 2 g fiber

Nutrisystem offers frozen meals and pantry meals with moderately high protein and fiber and low to moderate calories. You get 5 days of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and 2 snacks per day for each week for the month. You must add vegetables and salads and also meals for 2 days of each week. This provides convenience for dieters but some do not like the taste but these tasted mostly okay to good for me. I did like the convenience since I was cooking for my eldery mother who needed more calories. I lost weight on the Nutrisystem diet(~1 lb per week).

Nutrisystem macaroni and cheese has 220 calories, 10 g pro and 3 g fiber. Lean Cuisine frozen has 270 calories, 13 g pro and 2 g fiber. The Lean Cuisine has a better texture (in my opinion) but I like most macaroni and cheese. I will add green beans to this which will increase the calories to 310, 15 g pro, 4 g fiber.

Will add 1/2 cup cherries and another treat to reach 1300 calories; so far with the cherries added the day has 1170 calories, 71.6 g pro, 27 g fiber
